Reinhard Stubenrauch – Angel Wall Lamp – Stubenrauch Lichtobjekt – Germany – 1990

This Reinhard Stubenrauch wall lamp takes the form of an angel and dates from around 1990. Stubenrauch designed the piece for Stubenrauch Lichtobjekte in Berlin, Germany. The sculpture uses stainless steel and combines a strong silhouette with a functional light source.

The angel form gives the wall lamp a distinctive presence. It works as a light, but it also reads as a sculptural object when switched off. The stainless steel catches the surrounding light and makes the contours visible from different angles. Place it in a hallway, living room, bedroom or collection of expressive design objects.

Handmade stainless steel angel lamp

Reinhard Stubenrauch made this piece by hand. That process gives the object its individual character. Small differences belong to the handmade nature of the work. The combination of sculpture and lighting makes the lamp suitable for an interior that values both atmosphere and object quality.

The proportions give the angel a clear presence on the wall. It measures 40 cm in width, 60 cm in height and 20 cm in depth. The depth allows the sculpture to stand away from the wall and adds dimension to the silhouette. Please study the photographs for the most accurate view of the steel and condition.
