Artifort – F512 – Red Leather – Geoffrey D. Harcourt

This comfortable armchair is an exclusive design by Geoffrey Harcourt. A real favorite among interiors of home enthusiasts. The swivel armchair has a shell that you can comfortably curl up in and has a metal flared foot and comes with a stunning red leather upholstery. The armchair is very inviting and provides relaxation. The chair is in good condition. The leather is in good condition, but has a couple of small marks on the seating area and 2 little spots of white paint on it (which probably can be removed).

Artifort F512

This selected vintage design piece has the kind of presence that makes older furniture and lighting worth collecting. It brings together material, proportion and age in a way that new production rarely copies well.

The piece can be used in a home, studio or gallery interior. It also combines naturally with Scandinavian, Dutch, Italian and postmodern design, because the shape is clear and the material character remains visible.

For broader background, this piece sits within the long tradition of industrial design, where practical use and visual form belong together.

Also, this piece gives a room more depth. However, it does not take over the whole interior. Therefore, you can combine it with simple modern furniture. In addition, the shape feels clear and easy to understand. Finally, the vintage character adds warmth without making the room look heavy.

Moreover, collectors often like pieces that show age in an honest way. For example, small signs of use can make the object feel more real. As a result, the piece keeps its story and still works in daily life.
