Description

The Artifort Model 877 coffee table is a sculptural mid-century design by Pierre Paulin. Artifort made this model in the Netherlands in the 1960s. Its low height, compact proportions and flowing outline make it a distinctive accent beside a sofa or lounge chair. In addition, this example retains its original Artifort label underneath.

The Model 877 shows Paulin’s interest in simple forms with a strong visual presence. Its rounded outline softens the lines of a seating area, while the low profile keeps the table visually light. As a result, it works well beside lounge seating without dominating the room. The original maker’s label underneath helps identify this example as an Artifort table.
