This rare blue mosaic coffee table was designed by Berthold Müller-Oerlinghausen in Germany during the 1950s. The Berthold Muller mosaic table combines a generous circular surface with a striking blue mosaic finish. It makes a strong centrepiece in a living room or lounge.
The table has a sculptural presence without relying on excessive decoration. The mosaic surface adds colour and texture, while the round form makes it easy to position around sofas and lounge chairs. As a result, it works in both a mid-century interior and a more contemporary setting.

The design reflects the post-war interest in expressive materials and carefully made furniture. Each small mosaic element contributes to the overall rhythm of the surface. The blue colour gives the table a calm but distinctive appearance.
This coffee table is in really good vintage condition with only minimal signs of wear and use. Please study the photographs carefully for the exact appearance of the mosaic, edges and base.
Place the table on its own as a focal point, or combine it with neutral upholstery and warm wood. Its diameter provides plenty of space for books, objects and everyday use without making the room feel crowded.
