Vintage Brass Crocodile – Decoration – Alligator – Heavy – 1970s

This vintage brass crocodile decoration brings a distinctive sculptural accent to an interior. The piece dates from the 1970s and shows an alligator with carefully worked surface details. Its heavy construction gives the object a substantial feel and helps it sit securely on a shelf, desk, console or table.

The brass surface gives the crocodile a warm, golden character. Light moves across the body and highlights the texture of the decoration. The long shape also creates a strong line in a display. Place it between books, ceramics and smaller objects, or let it stand alone as a conversation piece.

1970s brass animal decoration

This vintage brass crocodile works well in a vintage collection, a study, a library or a living room. The alligator form adds a touch of wild character without relying on bright colour. Its detailed surface keeps the piece interesting from close up, while the simple material gives it a timeless appearance.

The decoration measures 40 cm in length and 7 cm in width. The substantial weight adds to its presence. Please study the photographs for the most accurate view of the brass surface and condition. The piece is available for worldwide shipping or local pickup.
