Tito Agnoli – Safari Chair – Leather and Bamboo – Bonacina – Italy – 1960s

This awesome leather safari chair is designed by Tito Agnoli for Bonacina in the 1960s. It is In excellent vintage condition. The leather has wrap-around stitching and is patinated cognac colour. Completely original, with minor signs of usage on the leather. These unique saddle chair are attributed to Tito Agnoli for Bonacina. Lighting and furniture designer architect Tito Agnoli first studied industrial design and interned with Gio Ponti and Carlo De Carli. He was prolific and experimental, always with an eye for luxury. They were made by the Italian firm Vittorio Bonacina, in existence from the late 19th century and specializing in bamboo furniture.
