Peill & Putzler – Big Mushroom Lamp – Opaline Glass – Germany – 1970s

Peill & Putzler designed this large mushroom table lamp in Germany during the 1970s. The shade uses beautiful white opaline glass, which creates a soft and atmospheric glow when the lamp is switched on.

The rounded mushroom form works well on a side table, console, cabinet or bedside table. Moreover, the simple silhouette makes the lamp easy to combine with both Scandinavian furniture and more expressive vintage design.

1970s Peill & Putzler opaline glass lamp

The opaline glass gives the lamp its characteristic diffused light. At the same time, the generous size allows it to function as a clear decorative focal point without feeling overly complicated.

The lamp remains in very good condition. There is a small spot of damage on the inside layer of the glass, but it is almost invisible. Please study the magnified image and the other photographs carefully before purchase.
