Koch Creations – Eichhoff Lampette – Desk Lamp – BA15 – 1960s

This Eichhoff Lampette desk lamp by Koch Creations dates from the 1960s. The compact design combines practical lighting with clever movement. Telescopic arms let you extend the lamp when you need more light. You can fold the arms back when you want to save space. The lamp therefore works well on a desk, side table or bedside table.

The shade rotates 360 degrees. You can direct the light towards a book, a work surface or a small display. The lamp has a transformer from 220V to 6V in the base. This detail forms part of the original construction. The BA15 fitting also reflects the functional character of the design.

Compact 1960s desk lamp

The Eichhoff Lampette keeps a small footprint in both positions. Expanded, it measures 40 x 8 cm. When folded, it measures 15 x 8 cm. This makes the lamp easy to place in a smaller room. It also makes storage simple when the lamp is not in use.

The design has a clear period character without becoming visually heavy. The adjustable arms add a technical detail, while the small shade keeps the overall silhouette light. It suits a vintage office, a reading corner, a bedroom or a collector’s display.
