A striking set from IKEA’s 2018 INDUSTRIELL collection, created in collaboration with renowned Dutch designer Piet Hein Eek.

For this collection, IKEA and Piet Hein Eek explored new ways of working with materials such as wood, glass, ceramics and textiles. Central to the collaboration was a shared interest in making large-scale production feel less uniform. Small variations and visible characteristics of the production process give the pieces a more individual, human character.
