Description

This IKEA Storvik rattan stool was designed by Carl Öjerstam in 2002. It is a compact vintage footstool with a warm woven appearance and a clear connection to the Storvik lounge chair. The natural texture keeps the piece relaxed, while its simple shape fits easily into a modern or vintage interior.

IKEA Storvik stool by Carl Öjerstam

The Storvik series combines practical everyday furniture with an inviting natural look. The rattan surface gives this stool a tactile finish and makes it an easy addition beside a lounge chair. Use it as a footrest after reading, as an occasional seat when guests arrive or as a small accent in a reading corner.

Because this stool belongs to the Storvik lounge chair series, it works especially well alongside the matching chair. It can also soften a room with contemporary furniture. In addition, its modest scale makes it simple to move when you want to change the layout. The woven material remains the main visual feature.
