This IKEA Smog table light is the aqua version of model B9113, dated 1993. Its compact form and distinctive colour make it a memorable vintage lighting piece for a side table, bedside setting, shelf or design collection. The lamp has the playful clarity associated with IKEA lighting of the early 1990s, while its small footprint makes it easy to style in both modern and retro interiors.
The aqua finish gives the light a calm but recognisable presence. Place it beside neutral furniture to let the colour stand out, or combine it with other carefully chosen vintage objects for a more layered interior. As a decorative table light, it works especially well where a room benefits from a small, expressive source of light.
Design and details
The Smog is a compact table lamp with a plastic screen and a wooden lamp base, as described in the original product information. The combination of materials gives the design a useful contrast between a clean, coloured shade and a warmer natural element. The B9113 model reference and 1993 date are retained in the product details for collectors researching vintage IKEA lighting.
Use the lamp on a console, desk, bedside table or display shelf. Its aqua colour can bring a focused accent to a monochrome room and can also complement warm wood, chrome and other 1990s design details. The photographs show the exact item and its current appearance.
Condition and use
This vintage IKEA Smog table light is in good working condition consistent with age and use. The plastic screen has a couple of tears next to the lamp socket; these marks are visible in the photographs and form part of the condition description. Please inspect every image carefully and ask any questions before purchase if you need a specific detail confirmed.
The listed height is approximately 54 cm. Please check the dimensions and allow suitable clearance around the lamp before ordering. Always use the light responsibly and follow the requirements of the appropriate bulb and electrical installation. Vintage electrical items should be checked before regular use.
