IKEA – Sill Wall Mirror – Memphis Style – 1996

The IKEA catalogue first listed this Sill wall mirror in 1996. With its strong colour and playful geometric character, the mirror fits naturally into a Memphis-style or postmodern interior.

In addition, a mirror can make a room feel lighter and more spacious. The Sill adds another layer by working as a decorative wall object even when it is not being used. Hang it in an entrance, bedroom, hallway, dressing area or above a small console.

Furthermore, the compact format makes this mirror easy to place. In addition, the bold frame can bring contrast to a neutral wall or reinforce an interior with colourful vintage furniture. It also combines well with graphic art, chrome details and other 1990s design pieces.

IKEA offered the Sill mirror for a limited period of a few years after its 1996 catalogue appearance. Finally, please study the photographs carefully for the exact colours, frame and present condition.
