IKEA – Moment Super – Leather – Sofa – Niels Gammelgaard – 1986

This is a super rare version of the famous “Moment Sofa” by Niels Gammelgaard for IKEA. It was launched in 1986 by IKEA. This sofa is one of Ikea’s best-selling sofas at the time. The sofa won several awards at the time, including two Red Dot Awards. Now it is an esteemed designer classic. The design was inspired by a shopping cart when Gammelgaard visited a factory that manufactured it.

The sofa is in a used condition with signs of wear (rust, stains, scratches)
