IKEA – Konfetti – Candleholders – Set of 4 – Anna Efverlund – 1990

Anna Efverlund designed these IKEA Konfetti candleholders for IKEA in 1990. The set includes four metal candleholders with a colourful, playful character. Additionally, their varied graphic appearance gives a table or shelf an immediate decorative accent. The price covers the complete set of four.

In particular, the Konfetti candleholders work well together as a group. For example, place them on a dining table, sideboard, console or open shelf. Furthermore, their compact footprint makes them easy to combine with ceramics, glass and other 1990s objects. Moreover, the set works in a more restrained interior, where a small group of colourful pieces can provide contrast.

1990 IKEA design by Anna Efverlund

Anna Efverlund designed the Konfetti series for IKEA. Historically, the 1990 date places the set within a colourful period of accessible Scandinavian interior design. As a result, the metal construction gives the candleholders a clear, practical form, while the playful visual language keeps them from feeling ordinary.

For reference, each candleholder measures 25.5 cm in height and 7.6 cm in diameter. Therefore, these proportions give the set enough presence on a table without taking up excessive space. Finally, please study the photographs for the most accurate view of the colours, metal and condition.
