IKEA – Anna – Chair – Design Karin Mobring – 1963

Design and function: Karin Mobring designed the IKEA Anna chair for IKEA in the 1960s. Its reversible design offers two seat heights: approximately 14 cm or 25.5 cm. To change the height, simply flip the chair. As a result, this compact children’s chair offers two useful seating positions.

Original red paint: This example retains its original red finish. We have not fully restored it. Therefore, it shows age-related wear, scratches, paint loss and patina. Many owners repaint or restore Anna chairs; however, this example keeps much of its original character. In addition, the red finish highlights the chair’s sculptural shape.

Condition: A professional repaired a previous crack in the upper frame. However, the repair remains visible and appears clearly in the photos. The chair is currently solid and sturdy. Please study the photos closely for a clear view of its condition. We offer the IKEA Anna chair in its current vintage condition, including its visible wear and repair.
