Heiner Düsterhau – Solifleur Vase – Glass – Walther Glas – Germany – 1970s

This Heiner Düsterhau solifleur vase was designed for Walther Glas in Germany during the 1970s. The compact glass object can hold a single flower. It can also hold a candle, which gives the piece a second practical use. Its small format makes it easy to place on a shelf, side table, windowsill or dining table.

The simple form keeps the focus on the glass and the object’s proportions. Use one vase as a small accent or combine the three available pieces in a group. The set of matching objects can create a quiet rhythm on a sideboard or open shelf. The item is in excellent condition.
