Ferrari Toucan lamp by Enea Ferrari

Enea Ferrari founded Old Timer Ferrari in Verona in 1964. The company made objects, accessories and lamps. In 1970, Ferrari launched the Toucan Lamp. Because the design used plastic in a playful way, it became an important children’s lamp from that period.

The shape feels simple and friendly. In addition, the yellow colour makes it stand out at once. As a result, the lamp brings colour to a shelf, side table or children’s room.

Old Timer Ferrari and Linea Zero

Three years later, Old Timer Ferrari became Linea Zero. Ferrari also designed other playful lamps. These include the Pink Panther, the Biplane, Snoopy and the British Red Phone Box.

After that, the company moved more toward contemporary lighting. Therefore, Linea Zero became a known name in Italian lighting. The Toucan Lamp still shows the playful start of that story.

Yellow Italian pop design

This Ferrari Toucan lamp brings colour, humour and design history into a room. It works as a decorative table lamp. It also works as a collectible Italian design piece. Because of its clear shape, it is easy to place and easy to enjoy.
