Erik Buch – Dining Chairs – Model 310 – Set of 4 – Chr. Christensen – 1960s
This stunning set of 4 teak dining chairs, designed by Erik Buch in the 1960s, was produced by Christian Christensen’s Møbelfabrik in Denmark. Known as Model 310, these chairs epitomize the Danish mid-century modern style. Crafted from solid teak, the chairs feature a gracefully curved backrest and a wide, floating seat, upholstered in a petrol-blue faux leather.
The chairs showcase exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail, including discreet knobs on the sides of the backrest that conceal the screws, highlighting the precision and thoughtfulness in the joinery. The elegant, organic lines and the gentle curves of the teak backrest and frame are designed to provide excellent comfort and support, making these chairs not only visually appealing but also exceptionally comfortable for dining. The chairs are in good condition, but have signs of age and use.
