Charles Pollock – Comforto – Executive Chair – Knoll – 1960s

This very comfortable chair is designed by Charles Pollock for Comforto and produced by Knoll. It has beautifully brown leather with patina. This chair is in a vintage condition, with some scratches and signs of wear on the back of the shell. The leather is still in very good condition. The chair is rotatable.

The sophistication of the mid-20th century, Charles Pollock’s (1963) executive chair is modified for comfort and can inspire great ideas in an ergonomically intuitive chair. Pollock, who worked in George Nelson’s office after graduating from the Pratt Institute, was recognized by Florence Knoll for his unique talent. His directional chair is considered one of Knoll’s most recognizable designs, characterized by an aluminum frame that supports the seat and back, both visually and structurally. Made by Knoll to the designer’s original and strict specifications. Backed by a five-year manufacturer’s warranty. Made in the USA. The lowered seat edge and the shaped backrest contribute to long-lasting comfort.
